Frequent PX Opening Issues

Pixel image editor Isn't There

You encounter an error message such as "%%os%% Can't Open PX Files" when trying to open your PX. Usually, this is because you do not have Pixel image editor for %%os%% installed. Your operating system cannot associate your PX with Pixel image editor, so double-clicking the file won't work.

Tip: If you have another software that you know opens PX files, you can select it by hitting the "Show Apps" button.

Obsolete Version of Pixel image editor

In other instances, your Pixel Image File file version may not be supported by your version of Pixel image editor. Download the latest Pixel image editor version from the Softonic Corporate website to ensure you have the correct one installed. This problem is most common when you have an older version of the software application, and your file was created by a newer version that it cannot recognize.

Tip: If you right-click on your PX file, then select "Properties" (Windows) or "Get Info" (Mac), you can obtain hints about what version you need.
